Alpha 18

Bitcoin Bounty Hunt Alpha 18 adds the ability to change between all guns while playing the game. This changes gameplay drastically, as you can now snipe other hunters from afar, move closer and switch to the shotgun to steal their precious sats!

Currently the 3 available weapons are Assault Rifle, Sniper and Shotgun. We are currently working on adding new guns and items, which you will pickup in the maps while playing.

LNURL

We are currently experiencing some issues with withdrawals and lightning-channels. We have come to the conclusion that our current system, where users run their own neutrino node, is neither scalable nor feasable in a high fee market.

We didn’t want to add another system where you need to manage your logins or provide us your email. This is why we are moving to a fully LNURL-auth based login. This means that users will need a lnurl-auth compatible wallet in order to login. Existing users will be able to migrate their “pending balance” to the new system. More info on that soon.

Open Source

As stated on the last Mintgox event, we will fully open source all of our Bitcoin Bounty Hunt related software. This means you will be able to audit, improve and run all of our game, game server, game backends, authentication service and payment buffer.

We are very excited for this and hope you are as well. The current plan is to have everything ready by may.
